Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Horse Trips Egypt. By booking a trip or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General

Horse Trips Egypt offers group travel experiences in Egypt focused on horse riding, adventure, and cultural exploration.

By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings

  • A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.
  • After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with further details.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and complete personal information.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if necessary.

3. Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
  • This deposit is non-refundable.
  • The remaining 50% must be paid no later than 21 days before the start of the trip.

For bookings made within 21 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

If payment is not completed on time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund of the deposit.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • The deposit is non-refundable in all cases.

For the remaining balance, the following applies:

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before departure → refund of payments made, excluding the deposit
  • Cancellation within 30 days before departure → no refund

In exceptional circumstances, we may offer flexibility at our discretion.

5. Changes to the itinerary

We reserve the right to modify the itinerary due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Safety reasons
  • Local circumstances beyond our control

Any changes will always be made with your safety and overall experience in mind.

6. Health & fitness

By booking a trip, you confirm that:

  • You are physically and mentally able to participate in the activities
  • You have informed us of any medical conditions that may affect your participation

Participation is at your own risk.

7. Horse riding & experience level

  • Our trips are designed for different riding levels.
  • You are responsible for honestly communicating your riding experience.
  • We reserve the right to adjust activities based on your level for safety reasons.

The safety of participants and the welfare of the horses are our top priorities.

8. Liability

Horse Trips Egypt is not liable for:

  • Injuries, accidents, or damages during the trip
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
  • Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by external factors

By joining our trips, you acknowledge that activities such as horse riding involve inherent risks.

9. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain travel insurance that covers:

  • Medical expenses
  • Accidents
  • Trip cancellations

10. Conduct

All participants are expected to:

  • Respect fellow travelers
  • Respect local culture and environment
  • Follow instructions from guides at all times

We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately, without refund.

11. Photography & media

During the trip, photos and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.

By joining, you agree that this content may be used on our website and social media channels, unless you inform us otherwise in advance.

12. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political situations
  • Travel restrictions
  • Other unforeseen events

13. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on our website.

14. Accommodation

All prices are based on shared accommodation (double occupancy). A private room may be available upon request and is subject to an additional fee.
