Behind Horse Trips Egypt

Horse Trips Egypt was founded from a lifelong passion for horses and a desire to show people a different side of Egypt. But there was another reason behind it too.

Having experienced the horse world both in Europe and Egypt, we know that approaches to horse welfare can differ. We wanted to create experiences where incredible riding and responsible horsemanship can exist together.

For us, the wellbeing of the horse always comes before the experience of the rider.

How we choose our stables

The stables are carefully selected. We pay attention to how horses are cared for and managed on a daily basis. We work with people who genuinely care about their horses.

We care about the horses’ overall physical condition, access to appropriate food and water, tack and equipment, workload and recovery, handling by staff and how horses are matched to individual riders.

Our involvement doesn’t end once a stable becomes a partner. We remain closely involved and continue to evaluate the experiences we offer.

Shared responsibility

Protecting the horses is a shared responsibility between Horse Trips Egypt, our partner stables, guides and every rider who joins us.

That means being honest about your riding experience and weight, listening to your guide, riding with consideration for your horse and accepting when the pace, route or activity needs to be adjusted.

We ask every guest to put the horse before the perfect video, photograph or gallop.

Because the horses don’t simply make our adventures possible; they are at the heart of everything we do.
