Hi, I’m Rahma

The person behind
Horse Trips Egypt

My name is Rahma, I have a Dutch and Egyptian background, and the founder of Horse Trips Egypt. 

I grew up in the Netherlands, always knowing two things for sure: I wanted to work with horses, and I wanted to build a life beyond where I was. I started horseriding at the age of four, and as I got older, horses became more than a hobby, they became part of who I am.

From dream to reality

A dream so big that people always used to tell me that it would just stay that… a dream.

But here I am; living in Egypt, surrounded by horses, filling my days with laughter, freedom, and moments that feel almost unreal. It has become even more than I ever imagined, and I am grateful for it every single day.

It all started during a life changing semester abroad, searching for a reconnection with my Egyptian roots. During this time, I met the people who became family, and who introduced me to the horse world in Egypt.

Since then, I have spent years working and staying with horses in Egypt, riding through the desert, exploring hidden places, and living a life I once only dreamed of.
