When my original group trip was cancelled at the last moment, I contacted Rahma from Horse Trips Egypt. With only two weeks to spare, I asked about the possibilities, and she immediately offered to put together a trip especially for me. She took the time to understand my wishes, and organised everything around them. I was so grateful that she was able to make it happen on such short notice! 

And what an incredible journey it turned out to be! 

In Dahab, I went diving several times and enjoyed beautiful horseback rides through the mountains at sunset and along the coast at daws. After three days, I flew to Cairo, where I rode alongside the iconic Pyramids of Giza and explored the impressive Grand Egyptian Museum with an excellent private guide. 

But the absolute highlight for me was horseback riding in Fayoum. Surrounded by vast, breathtaking landscapes, I felt completely disconnected from the rest of the world. No distractions, no rush, just me, the horse and the moment. There was something incredibly liberating about it, a feeling that is difficult to put into words but will stay with me for a long time. 

I am truly grateful for this experience. First and foremost a big thank you to Rahma for the excellent organisation, personal attention and flexibility. Despite the short notice, she created a trip that felt completely tailored to me. But this experience would not have been the same without all the wonderful people she works with; the guides, riding instructors and accommodation hosts. Everyone contributed to making this such a special trip, and I genuinely loved every part of it.

Words cannot describe how incredible this was! Rahma is AMAZING and has truly created such a wonderful experience. She has thought of every little aspect and is extremely helpful. She and everyone she works with will treat you like family! It’s very evident how much the welfare of the horses are a priority and they were truly amazing and well taken care of! 

I had the pleasure of meeting people on this trip that felt like friends I had known for a very long time despite knowing each other just for a few days. We had so many laughs and created so many memories! I wish I could go back already! You will not regret making the decision to join Rahma on this adventure, it will be a truly unforgettable time!

This was one of the best things I ever have done in Egypt, or in another country! 

Our guide Youssef was really great, helpful, we had some good convos with him and he showed us the best places! 

We did a 4-hour ride and this is the best option to enjoy the views in the desert. 

Prices quality is good for what you get, totally worth it. Next time will be a horse ride for more days in the desert, would love to sleep in the camps. Also where we stopped was very very clean and has some good mango or guave juice! 

Again, we are very grateful for having us and for the perfect organization.

By far the most mix of fun, family, connection, and unforgettable memories. The price for this adventure does not give it justice, you get bank for you buck and more. 8 days is great but it will definitely leave you wanting more haha. Rahma handpicked locations and stables makes this experience one of a kind. The whole team took great pride in the wellbeing of the horses. Rahma also makes sure she makes everyone feel comfortable and easy to connect. I came solo and I am leaving with an extended family. I would not only recommend this trip but I am going to make it a mission to bring back as many people as possible.

Had the loveliest experience, the tour guide Rahma not only knew how to create an incredible group atmosphere she also knew exactly who to work with because even the people in charge of the horses from the stables were kind, helpful and fun. The views are spectacular, and the horses are beautiful and well trained as well as well treated and clearly loved. Even if you’re nervous or a beginner you can count on someone there to guide you so you can experience the amazing group atmosphere and stunning views. Pictures were taken very generously, laughs were had and adventurous gallops were definitely unforgettable.
